Jackie Robinson West went to the finals of the Little League World Series in 2014 and it was the talk of the town.  Now, one of the stars of that inspiring team will enter the Cubs system.

Ed Howard hit .419 for the Caravan his junior year (senior year was cancelled because of COVID-19).  He’s a tremendous ballplayer and my Mt. Carmel sources tell me he’s a terrific kid, too.  Analysts are high on him

Howard grew up a White Sox fan.  Tim Anderson has been a mentor for the young man, as discussed with Jim Thome here:
