It’s October 31st and the first real snow has arrived in Chicago.

Don’t think it’ll stick around for too long, but it will make for a white Halloween.  Some communities, such as Vernon Hills, have postponed trick-or-treating until Saturday, November 2nd.  Seems weird.  Just go with whatever Mother Nature deals you.  At the risk of going cranky old man on you, weather never affected our candy gathering back in my day.  These kids today…

I’m dressing as B Rabbit from 8 Mile.  It gives me a good reason to wear a warm hoodie & a winter hat all night.  Applied mom’s spaghetti to a white t-shirt.  Homemade spaghetti.  Boiled the water all by myself.
