Shopping at Fresh Market on Western the other day, I picked up a sixer of First Lager from Hopewell Brewing – based in Chicago.  According to Hopewell’s “About Us” page on the website, the brewery was founded by native Chicagoans who met in Champaign while attending U of I.  Cracked a couple open while I watched two NBA playoff blowouts Thursday night.
