At Belmont and Paulina there’s 800 degrees of brick oven heat waiting to prepare you a pie that the owner dubbed “NeapolAmerican” – but it’s pretty much New York style.  The char from the oven makes the crust almost as good as the cheese & pepperoni part:

Wiz & I caught a basketball game up at the bar, polished off a couple Krombacher Pils and our pie was in front of us before we knew it.

Nice bar, friendly staff and warm atmosphere.  Good place to spend your evening in Lakeview.
