Ventured out very little, just to walk the dog.  The temperature is negative 20 degrees.  Disturbingly quiet on the Chicago neighborhood streets, just one other dog walker on my block.  At least it’s sunny again.  Isn’t painful to be outside or anything like that, in short stints.  I’d go somewhere if I had somewhere I needed to be.  Luckily, I can opt out and stay home.

 

Much better idea is to just send the dog out and stand in the doorway.
