The Pro Bowl announcement is such a thrill.  Certainly for the Bears who made it, but also for the long-suffering fans.  For years, it’s been maybe Kyle Long or Jordan Howard here and there…but never a Bears-heavy roster.  Not since the Matt Forte/Alshon Jeffery days.  But, now here we are…NFC North Champs with a chance to make some noise in the playoffs.  And a Pro Bowl roster full of Bears.  I hope none of them actually have to play in the crappy Pro Bowl game, (because you know that means they have another game to play) but what an honor for these guys who’ve made autumn and winter a lot better in the Windy City.

Congrats to Khalil Mack, Akiem Hicks, Eddie Jackson, Kyle Fuller & Tarik Cohen and alternates Mitch Trubisky, Cody Whitehair, Charles Leno Jr., Trey Burton, Roquan Smith (as a rookie!!!), Leonard Floyd & Danny Trevathan.  I could name at least 7 other Bears who deserved consideration as well, but I’ll try not to be greedy.
