The epicenter of the hot dog universe.  At the new & improved Elston/Damen/Fullerton former nightmare intersection, the Vienna Beef Factory offers tours on the weekend.  The cafe serves Vienna workers as well as neighborhood guys like me and anyone who’s willing to drive somewhere to get the real deal Chicago dog.  Do you go there?  Oh, no wait…I would’ve seen you.  Like Reed Rothchild at Vince’s Gym, I’m there everyday.  Of course, you can also get beefs, Mike Ditka Polish Sausages and any standard Vienna beef order.  There’s a separate line for deli sandwiches.  Try the turkey pastrami.  It’s a lock.  You can buy packages of sausages or dogs to take home or to a game for the grill, too.  The 2 dog special with my favorite crinkle cut fries and a fountain drink of the Coke varieties is like 8 bucks.  Unreal deal.  A place you must visit before you die.
