Branko’s is old reliable for Blue Demon students – the sandwich shop 2 blocks west of the  Fullerton Red Line has been feeding college kids for a long time.  The old lady behind the counter goes out of her way to please.  I double clutched on wanting mayo – total customer fail.  She already spread the mayo, so I said “Don’t worry about it, my bad.”  Because it was my bad.  But she insisted on getting me a new loaf of bread, at her own expense.  She wants everyone to get it the way they want it.  Respect.  They’ve got beefs, gyros, hot dogs, burgers, pizza puffs, etc. too…but I go with the cold subs.  Italian cold cut and can of RC for a filling lunch.
