MLB.com apparently refused to renew Carrie Muskat’s contract.  Too bad, she’s one of the more reliable, factual Cubs beat writers.  Loss for Cubs fans seeking real information about the team.  MLB gets complete control of Cubs.com?  Do the teams have zero input?  If so, the Ricketts should’ve fought for Carrie.  Bulls.com provided Sam Smith a perfect landing spot.  The Ricketts should do right and make sure Carrie continues a prominent role in covering the Cubs.
