Cheddar Goblin staged a takeover of Taco in a Bag (4603 N. Lincoln) for Monday and Tuesday night this week.  Patrick “Deep Dish” Bertoletti and Tim “Gravy” Brown dished up fiendish mac n cheese creations while the Cheddar Goblin himself worked the room.  I ate a cup of the Diavolo (Italian sausage, provolone, mozzarella & giardiniera croutons) followed by a sweat-inducing cup of The Victor Crowley (spicy cheddar cream sauce, andouille, Gulf shrimp, green onion, Ritz Cracker crust) and then finished with an Orange Goblin (pimento mac n cheese roll).  I washed it all down with a Green River.  Delicious and hilarious Monday night.  I recommend stopping by tomorrow evening.  Everything I tried was legit, but make certain you try an Orange Goblin.
