Al’s invented the Italian beef.  They’re celebrating the 80th Anniversary of Al’s Beef by offering 80 cent beefs Thursday from 11am-7pm.  I stopped into the original location on Taylor Street to chat with owner Chris Pacelli about the occasion.  Chris has the most naturally occurring, authentic & fantastic Chicago accent in existence :
